Description
With fix to RT-22429/RT-23463 there is 3 slice vertical background caching but it is not enough in many cases. This issue is about to extend it to 9 slice caching.

OK, thanks. I didn't remember 9-slicing being on the list from that week. Btw, I am changing the issue type to Tweak. We do not use the deprecated Optimization type.

This was one of the key performance improvements from fest week. We already have patch. Just needs cleaning up. It's important for embedded performance.

Can you offer some insight as to why you think the priority should be Major? Note that this is unplanned for FX 8.
