A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
My opinion is that class lists are nowadays quite big (especially SDK's own class list) and its hard and time consumming to find the right class from javadocs' class list.

I was just wondering in Forums
( http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=41&thread=429354, 'coppied to comments')
if there could be new frame between package list frame and class list frame in javadocs (in standard doclet). This new frame would contain all letters. If user would click e.g. letter "I" the class list frame would automatically scroll so that the first class starting with "I" would be the first visible class in class list frame.

JUSTIFICATION :
Especially SDK's own classlist is so huge that it is not nice to use anymore. Some help for searching class would be nice and that help have to be usable always and right away. This is why I was thinking about the letter list frame.
