Description
I would like to you include a search engine with the JDK. I am
tempted to write one, in Java of course.

Comments
There are some links in the ER that aren't available anymore, so therefore we don't have enough information to complete this ER.

EVALUATION Jacek.Ambroziak@east has written a search applet using the JavaHelp index facility. We should start with that and go from there. doug.kramer@Eng 1999-09-07 We now have search capability on java.sun.com. It would be useful to include search capability in the download docs bundle. ###@###.### 2002-02-20 The deployment part of the JDK doc bundle already includes DevaSearch for indexed search: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/deployment/deployment-guide/contents.html ###@###.### 2004-08-06
