Devanagari is the only supported Indic script in the default font.properties.hi file. But since we have Java Input Method available for some other Indic scripts and Windows XP supports some of these Indic scripts as separated OpenType fonts (e.g. Shruti for Gujarati), it is strongly desired to have font.properties.hi file having these Indic fonts by default for 1.4.x users on Win32.
