http://java.net/jira/browse/MACOSX_PORT-665 submitted 2011/11/07 by Alexander Zuev Some Swing components used to have animation effects in Aqua LaF in jdk6. For example - default buttons in dialogs flashing or shiny effect on non-completed progress bars. For some reason this effect is missing in jdk7.
