Hi [~thartmann],
I have more concerns about JDK-8309271. I created a sub-task to back out it.

Thanks, could you please adjust the title to something more descriptive?

Pre-ILW = Various issues with JDK-8309271 (new feature) and missing tests, low?, no known workaround = MLH = P4

[~eastigeevich] the name of this RFE is misleading. JDK-8309271 was not backed out, right? So this is not a REDO but rather a follow-up bug fix, correct? I'm converting this to a bug for now.

[~thartmann] you are correct. It's a bug. I forgot to change the type after cloning the original issue.

No, it is not.
