Description
Update GIFlib library to the 5.1.8
Comments
Fix request (8u) The patch applies cleanly except the change in giflib.md. Its incorporated into THIRD_PARTY_README for all repos (http://cr.openjdk.java.net/~dcherepanov/8220495/v0) Testing: build passed on Mac/Win/Linux/Solaris and relevant tests (java/awt/SplashScreen/sun/java2d) didnt reveal any issues. Fix request (11u) The patch applies cleanly. Tested that it builds in the following configurations - Mac (Xcode 6.4), Windows (MS Visual Studio 2017), Linux (gcc 4.9.2), Solaris (Oracle Studio 12.4) Tested with related regression tests (from jdk/java/awt/SplashScreen and jdk/sun/java2d) and that didn't show any problems.
