JDK-8173796 - Overriden method, requestLayout(), by subclass of Parent didn't get call when process layout
Description
Compile and run the attached GridPaneUpdateLayoutBug.java to observe the bug. This is a similar bug, JDK-8137252, that affected StackPane that was fixed earlier.
Comments
Read JDK-8173796 for more information about the proposed fix. The reason why this fix didn't make it to GridPane is because GridPane's logic is more complex. We need to do more investigation of the impact and testing.
