Description
sun/security/ssl/SSLSocketImpl/AsyncSSLSocketClose.java

Above test is seen to timeout consistently on macOS after JDK-8148516 was fixed to default strength of EC keys.

reopening the issue. This was closed as "Cannot Reproduce", but test still in ProblemList.txt: sun/security/ssl/SSLSocketImpl/AsyncSSLSocketClose.java 8161232 macosx-all [~ssahoo] Please evaluate whether this issue still exist. If not, please create bug to remove this test from ProblemList.txt and (re-)close this one.

JDK-8148516 should not have direct impact on this test case. Looks like a socket behavior differences issue on different platform. The jtr file is not accessible, cannot make further evaluation. I will close this bug. Please file a new one or re-open this if it fails again in the future.

The issue here seems to be similar to earlier issue JDK-6447412 happened on linux, this one is on mac-os.
