Description
Ensemble8 build.gradle file doesn't match to build.xml in functionality. For example, code generation doesn't occur. It is confusing and misleading. Should at least contain a warning/comment on that.

Besides code generation, it is missing search index construction which is an important feature of the Ensemble8.

Lowering the priority to P4 given that we never use Ensemble8/build.gradle for anything. It would only ever be used by someone who took the javafx sampes bundle and used the sources with the Ensemble8/build.gradle file. Also worth noting is that this build.gradle file is untested. Perhaps we could consider removing it, but I would want to know whether anyone was using it. In any case, that would be a separate JIRA, and should be done for all samples and not just Ensemble8.

Yes, these exact files. If not using, we should remove build.gradle to avoid confusion. See the latest comments in JDK-8091485

Just to be clear, are you saying that the following don't match, right? apps/samples/Ensemble8/build.gradle apps/samples/Ensemble8/build.xml This may be true, but worth noting is that we never use apps/samples/Ensemble8/build.gradle for anything in our build.
