STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
1. Run java plugin in Firefox.
2. Closed tab that run java.

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
no crashes
ACTUAL -
crashes

REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.

This is a duplicate report confirming crash with Windows 8 and have more precise information then the other report JDK-8136595. Closing this as a duplicate.
