Printing does have a higer priority. This is an older JIRA that is not the one we are using to track this effort. The printing work is being tracked with RT-17383 so this JIRA is being closed as a duplicate of that one.

I fully agree with Robert. We are building business applications on JavaFX 2.x and printing is a key concern for us. We would appreciate a higher priority. Thanks!

I would like to see this feature request rated higher than medium: If JavaFX is targeted at business applications and business users, reporting capabilities are a "must-have". JavaFX offers good-looking charts and a great graphics API - a very good starting point for easy-to-implement reporting solutions. Talking with developers and decision makers, I often hear: "The users want to print what they see - they're just used to it". In this cases, missing printing capabilities are close to a knock-out. And it would be not good for JavaFX if I have to tell developers and decision makers: "Yes, on-screen you can do what you want - but you cannot print it.", Or if we have to tell our customers: "Of course our JavaFX apps can print - that costs you some extra xxx for imlementing a printing solution of our own".

Any alternate solution for this..?

Consider for Lombard, as this is not a presidio requirement. Note that the primary support needed will be in graphics (not scenegraph).
