Description
I think it's the same issue as mentioned in https://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-21768 only on Ubuntu 14.04. Currently supported libs were updated to newer versions. I described my problem here https://stackoverflow.com/questions/24848752/javafx-mp3-playback-ubuntu-14-04 . It would be great if it were fixed or if there is some workaround. Thanks

I see. In that case there is either some other problem, or the issue with Ubuntu 14.04 may involve more than just libav-53 not being installed by default. In any case, we will use RT-37914 to track this.

I actually installed the dependencies manually, but still got the same issue.

This is a duplicate of RT-37914 which is scheduled to be fixed in 8u40. In the mean time, you need to install libavcodec53 and libavformat53 on your system. The dependency on libavcodec53 and libavformat53 is listed here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/certconfig-2095354.html but we plan to add a release note to the 8u20 docs to highlight this issue.
