actually different call flow - NetworkInterface.getHardwareAddress(), but same root cause GetAdaptersAddress Windows API call. NetworkInterface.getHardwareAddress -> getMacAddr0 -> getMacAddr0_XP -> getAdapter -> GetAdaptersAddresses we should add the error code diagnostic here also.
