Description
The MPEG sub-benchmark for SPECjvm2008 has a performance regression across all aurora-performance platforms and all configurations of the benchmark in 8u20-b16. Some of the regressions are not statistically significant, but the regression are sustained through 8u20-b23 and are therefore real.

While working on JDK-8129847, I've seen that the performance of SPEC-MPEG is sensitive to changes in time spent in the compiler (even if the generated code is the same). Maybe this is the problem with JDK-8042786 as well.

Could this be JDK-8042786 ? It's one of the few changes that went into b16 that could affect performance.
