Java plugin assume JRE should always be available on the system where Java Plugin is available. However, it is possible under extreme conditions, for example, a user copy the plugin manually =, that Java plugin cannot initialize the JVM correctly.

We can fail but should not crash browser.

Comments
EVALUATION The plugin is instantiated but failed to initialize server VM because there is not JRE available on the system. There are two bugs, 1. On Windows only, there is a critical section in use, which is not handled correctly when the plugin failed to initialize. This is the cause of the crash. 2. To further improve robustness, when Java plugin failed to initialize Java VM, we should failed the plugin.
