Description
The changes in 4837564 require a new VM option to indicate if direct buffers are page aligned or not. We need a separate CR for the hotspot changes as otherwise the target releases will get confusing as the jdk part is for "7" only.

JDK 7 has been released since 2011 and so far there hasn't been a need for this so I suggest we just close this bug.
