FULL PRODUCT VERSION : vm_info: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (14.3-b01) for linux-amd64 JRE (1.6.0_17-b04), built on Oct 11 2009 01:08:48 by "java_re" with gcc 3.2.2 (SuSE Linux) FULL OS VERSION : uname:Linux 2.6.31.5-0.1-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT 2009-10-26 15:49:03 +0100 x86_64 A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM : I was surprised by a vm crash when i played around with a very simple method that creates ArrayLists using the vm options -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:+DoEscapeAnalysis The crash only happens when i use both options.
