Description
A vulnerability in java IE plugin may crash iexplorer .

This issue has been reported by Larry Seltzer as a possible vulnerability in java IE plugin while some webpages were crashing constantly.

EVALUATION Submitter has confirmed that this issue has been fixed in 6u12 b03 via the fix for 6674383. Closing it as a duplicate. The following Microsoft kb article has a description on DEP issue related to ATL: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948468

EVALUATION With 6u11 b03 jp2iexp.pdb file, we found that the crash is actually happening in the Mircosoft's ATL code. See comment section for a call stack. I'm attaching a call stacks of all native threads in the attachment. This is likely the same DEP related issue (6674383) on Vista which we've fixed in 6u12 b03.
