Description
I tried to install 6u10 b23 on XP pref client of the VirtualBox(The host machine: x86). I got a failure during both JRE/JDK installations. A screen-shot was attached. I am not sure if this is a supported environment. But at least, it is a regression as I was able to install 6u06 successfully and worked fine.

SUGGESTED FIX Was this with the JRE or JDK installer, or both? If only the 6u10 b23 JDK installer, CR 6697040 is a known issue that has been fixed. If not just a problem with the 6u10 b23 JDK installer, the setup.log (or the MSI log) would be very helpful in diagnosing the Error 1722.

SUGGESTED FIX We need the following information: %TEMP%\java_install.log %TEMP%\java_install_reg.log Is this reproducible? Can you run the installer with a "/L setup.log" to capture a log file? Or can you give us vnc/remote-desktop info so we can check out the scenario?
