JDK-6395737 - IE hangs when a modal dialog is active with concurrent window re-focus activities
Description
IE hangs when you open another IE instance when modal dialog is up and running.

To reproduce,
1. load the attached html "testAppletSimple.htm", this will bring up the
   applet 
2. close the browser by clicking the "x" of the browser window, this will
   trigger the modal dialog window
3. While the modal dialog is up, open a new session of IE
4. Go back to the applet window (not the modal dialog), click on the browser anywhere. 
5. You will see that the CPU utilization is up to 100% and applet IE window hangs.

This issue is closely related to bug 6395737.

EVALUATION Closing out the escalation as I didn't hear anything from anyone on this for quite a while and also as Ragini points out that this has been fixed through another bug. Please reopen a new bug if anyone still observes this problem.

EVALUATION Fix for 6395737 fixes this issue too. Hence we should close it.

EVALUATION Can the submitter provide more info on the configuation (IE version, windows version ...)? I tested it on my Win2K box with IE 6.0. I followed the steps in the description. The testcase does look hang for a couple of seconds but gets back to normal after that. I could never see the CPU hitting 100% utilization though. Marking as incomplete pending more info from the submitter for the above question.
