Description
Running Netbeans 5.0 using JDK 5.0 Update 8 results in the toolbar icons becoming much wider and the end-user experience is really bad.  I am uploading snapshots of the toolbar running with 5.0 Update 7, 5.0 Update 8 and JDK 6 - build 96.

Netbeans also has this issue filed in their issue tracker database at http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=83228
