EVALUATION Have discussed with the submitter and agreed to close this, not reproducible. The hs_err file says the problem is happening before the JVM is fully initialized, but we don't have the details of how the native app is starting/attaching, or the native stacktrace of the crash. We don't have enough information to investigate this problem properly, and the customer has moved on with application changes and are not currently suffering from the problem. They will come back to us, possibly using Java 1.5, if we have a problem to look into fully at some point.
