java version "1.6.0-ea"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.6.0-ea-b45)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.6.0-ea-b45, mixed mode, sharing)

NetBeans output window is garbled after upgrading from 5.0u4 b05
to JDK 1.6.0 b45.

I have attached two screen shots, garbled.png and refresh.png.  The
first shows the problem (see lower right output window), the second
show the same application after refresh.  Notice how the fonts
have changed from proportional to monospace.

EVALUATION It does not look like a swing-text problem. Closing as "not reproducible"

EVALUATION could it be possible to have small runnable test case?

EVALUATION Something odd is indeed happening in that text component. It almost looks like the fonts are changing on the fly, messing up the painting.
