EVALUATION Considering that we've made great strides in Solaris footprint reduction in Mustang, and we're unlikely to find any easy or effective changes through investigating this bug, I'm closing this one out.

EVALUATION The majority of the footprint increase appears to come from classloads (rt.jar and classes.jsa), likely spread over many fixes between b30 and b40. Additional analysis is needed, and is likely to turn up many changes, each causing a small footprint increase.
