EVALUATION (Following is added by ###@###.###) This looks like Java Plugin problem on Solaris 10. I could simulate the bug with the following setup: [JDS3LIN] cinnabar34 linux - system 1 S10_74 sparc with cinnabar build25 - system 2 The java version in system 2 (sparc machine) was 1.5.0_01 But when I changed the java version in system 2 to 1.5.0_03, the reported problem was not seen and I could successfully type on the terminal. Below are the steps that I followed: 1. Installed jre1.5.0_03 in /tmp on the sparc machine (system2). 2. Made the mozilla plugin to point to jre1.5.0_03 -> cd /usr/sfw/lib/mozilla/plugin/ -> ln -s /tmp/jre1.5.0_03/plugin/sparc/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so libjavaplugin_oji.so 3. Now when I launched mozilla from system 2 and browsed to http://system1:5800, the problem was not seen. This bug should be moved to the team who is responsible for providing latest Java versions on s10 and solaris_nevada. ###@###.### 2005-05-06 12:39:19 GMT Moving it java-plugins. In case the category is not the correct one, kindly move the bug to the appropriate category. ###@###.### 2005-05-09 06:58:10 GMT lower its priority since workaround exists. Will find a s10 machine to try mustang. ###@###.### 2005-06-02 02:56:41 GMT can reproduce with 1.5.0_01. but cannot reproduce with mustang or 1.5.0_04. Also It seems awt focus issue. please see 5095117 ###@###.### 2005-06-02 06:58:22 GMT This looks very similar to 5095117. Please verify that this problem is already fixed in JDK6.0b10 and JDK1.5.0_03b07. ###@###.### 2005-06-02 12:18:16 GMT
