Description
A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :

* Allow partial JVM download + deployment (2mb JVM download).

With "MANIFEST.MF to list remote libraries that are downloaded by webstart and a similar mechanism to specify and incrementally download the JRE it should be possible to download a small JVM and incrementally download larger bits.

JUSTIFICATION :
This is one of many RFEs produced from a community discussion at
http://forums.java.net/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=143. Further
justification could typically be found at the given link or off a
thread listed at the given link.

A smaller JVM "may" increase the spread of java on the desktop where a download is perceived as a limitation.

It may also increase the perception that it is slow for the JVM to run since the JVM may be run and continually download remote libraries (this will be annoying to the end user). In todays network speeds it may be benificial to download 7-15mb and get it over with.
