Description
I just installed a jdk-1.5.0 (build 1.5.0-b64) rpm.

After installation /usr/java/jdk1.5.0 was missing. I suspect that the problem is lines like "rm -rf /usr/java/jdk1.5.0" in the POSTUN script. I used the -U option to rpm.

WORK AROUND To upgrade from one build to the next build use the following workaround. Instead of... rpm -U $package Simply use... rpm -e $package rpm -i $package Implementing this feature would save scripters one line of code. Insufficient customer requests to justify the amount of work required at this time. The work to implement this feature is more complex than meets the eye. ###@###.### 2004-09-30
