A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
comparing the fonts rendered as part of the windows native look and feel, and the fonts from true native applications shows a marked difference

the ones in java almost look 'corrupt'

REGRESSION.  Last worked in version tiger-beta2

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
simply compare the Control Panel->Java and Control Panel->XXX panels and look at the C of the Cancel button

I have a screen shot but don't know how to attach it to this bug report

This bug can be reproduced always.
