Description
1. On the Cinnabar Sun Java Desktop System (running GNOME 2.6), switch to the High Contrast Large Print theme (Launch->Preferences->Display->Theme) and also select "Apply Font"
2. Launch SwingSet
3. Switch to the GTK Style L&F
4. Select the Button Demo
5. See how small the checkboxes are, how in this desktop theme the bottom and right edges are invisible, and that the check mark itself isn't as clear as it might be.
6. Now launch gedit (Launch->Applications->Accessories->Text Editor)
7. Choose Edit->Preferences, and look at the check boxes here. The box is a clear square, and the check mark is a bold and very visible "x" extending beyond the boundary of the box.
