Description
The fdlibm math library routines must be compiled at a low optimization level to ensure portability.  However, it should be compiled at the highest optimization level where that portability is acheived.
Comments
Various changes (JDK-8170153, JDK-8210416) have increased the optimization level used to compile fdlibm and retain the needed library semantics in a platform-appropriate way. Closing out this issue and leaving the remaining improvements to a port of the code to Java.
