A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
On the Windows platform (perhaps others), Shift+Del is equivalent to Ctrl+X (Cut), Ctrl+Ins is equivalent to Ctrl+C (Copy), Shift+Ins is equivalent to Ctrl+V (Paste), Alt+Backspace is equivalent to Ctrl+Z (Undo), and Alt+Shift+Backspace is equivalent to Ctrl+Y (Redo).

JUSTIFICATION :
For those using the Dvorak keyboard layout, these are much more conveniently located than the more traditional shortcuts.
Also, this is consistent with the behavior of native Windows applications.

EVALUATION If these are available under the Windows platform we should probably add them to the Window L&F. I will consult with the accessibility team about this. ###@###.### 2003-09-18
