Description
Java2Demo Regression from 1.3.1 (seen in FCS and update releases 1.4.0_xx 1.4.1_xx)

All platforms (Tested on Windows/Solaris)

Test machine1: sol8 intel
ati rage 4mb Mach64GT Graphics
1024x768 - 256 colours 70 Hz

Test machine2: win xp pro
AcerView 7154e on Cirrus Logic 5480 Compatible Graphics Adapter
1024x768 - 16bit colours (medium quality)

===============================================================================
In 1.4+

1. Install 1.4x JDK

2. Run Java2Demo application
   in JDK demo/jfc/Java2Demo/Java2Demo.jar

3. Select the Transforms Tab .SelectTx

Notice the Duke animation:
Scaled - appears as expected full colour until mirrored and flipped, then exhibits alpha-composite effect
Shear and Rotate - both exhibit alpha-composite control effect when not expected, with some intermittent flash of colour duke with each cycle

(Ensure that alpha-composite global control is not checked in the demo)

I believe this to be a regression from 131, and is not expected.
This appears in both 140,141 fcs
