On Windows 2000 and Windows XP for Japanese,
IM Tool-bar(Language-bar) does not come back after Java IM related operation.
Situation is not same on Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
You can recreate this problem with following operations on Japanese Windows:
1. Download CityIM.jar from followin URL:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/docs/guide/imf/spi-tutorial.html
Move to "8. Sample Code", then follow the instruction
2. Put CityIM.jar to JAVA_HOME\jre\lib\ext directory
3. Change directory to JAVA_HOME\demo\jfc\Notepad
4. Start java with "-jar Notepad.jar" option
> java -jar Notepad.jar
5. You can see IM Tool-bar(Language-bar) on Desktop
6. Choose the "Select Input Method" menu from System menu on window,
then choose "City Input Method" and choose one of locale from the popup menu
7. IM Tool-bar(Language-bar) is disappeared, thne CityIM's status window is displayed
8. Choose the "Select Input Method" menu from System menu on window,
then choose System Input Method
9. CityIM's status window is disappeared, but IM Tool-bar(Language-bar) is not displayed
<=== PROBLEM
10. On Windows 2000, IM Tool-bar is displayed if Java is stopped.
On Windows XP, Language-bar is not displayed even if Java is stopped <=== PROBLEM
