Description
In Win2000, I tried to Drag and Drop "drag me" to a workpad. It doesn't work in both jdk1.2.2_007 and jdk1.2.2_008. It is supposed to show "Drag me!" in the workpad when the "Drag me!" is dropped to a workpad. The same test works fine in WinNT.
The test suite is in \\urbwi-40-1\shared\cft\Drag-n-Drop\TestText. The test procedure I followed is in the README file.

Is CTE working on this bug for an escalation? If so, can you assign the bug to an engineer, commit it to the appropriate patch release, and update the evaluation? Otherwise, the bug should probably be closed, because it is highly unlikely to be reproducible in 1.3.1 or 1.4. I cannot verify this, however, because the test case is not accessible. thanks, dave mendenhall david.mendenhall@east 2001-04-23 Date: Thu, 26 Apr 2001 15:40:14 -0700 (PDT) From: Ken Zheng <###@###.###> Subject: Re: BugId 4448880 : (P4/S5) Has been Updated - by dpm To: ###@###.###, ###@###.### Cc: ###@###.###, ###@###.###, ###@###.###, ###@###.### MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-MD5: cTAndObD65sQ3vVBEDDA2g== Just now, I made a copy of the test case into /net/jpse/webhome/JPSE_tests/bugs/4448880/TestText I ran the same test in 1.3.0_003 and 1.3.1. It passed. Regards, Ken david.mendenhall@east 2001-04-27 According to the above e-mail, this bug is not reproducible in any mainline JRE releases at this point. This bug is being kept open only because a fix for it will be integrated into 1.2.2_10. david.mendenhall@east 2001-04-27
