Description
IPv6 tests on Linux V6 only machines are not tested yet. There is no way we can say this stuff works unless we make it work.

Comments
EVALUATION This point is moot now that IPv6 is in almost all Linux distributions. The Linux IPv6 implementation in J2SE has been thoroughly tested with nightly runs and ample distribution of J2SE since the days of 1.4.

EVALUATION I doubt linux ipv6 implementation and configuration will be ready for us to test the v6 only configuration before merlin fcs. Currently the net utilities for configuring IPv6 stuff are maintained by some individuals, and they are not integrated into the kernel workspace. I doubt anything will change in the Linux world on that part for at least another year. Specially since 2.4.x still has it "experimental" and the next stable kernel (2.6.x) is not on the radar at all. yingxian.wang@eng 2001-06-27
