Run the attached test (VImageColors.java).  Note that the right panel 
looks different than the other two.  All three should look the same, with the
same image, fill color, and text color.

EVALUATION This problem comes from our recent change to use multiple DC's, one per rendering thread. The problem is that we need to select our current palette into any DC that we use for rendering. If we don't do that, then we basically have no palette selected for that DC and rendering that is done with that DC will only be able to use the default system palette colors. The fix is to put a SelectPalette() using the shared palette wherever we create a new DC. chet.haase@Eng 2001-03-14
