Why must we always have to put the .java extension when doing
javac compiles?

Every programming language I have always worked with has always
had its default and I have been programming in java for 2 years
and finally had the notion to voice this.

When executing a Java program you just put java Class - this is
good because the default extension is .class, why not do the
same when compiling.

This is just more typing and not necessary to add the extension.

I HAVE REPORTED THIS BEFORE AND AM GETTING TIRED OF YOUR
COMPANY NOT HEEDING WHAT ALL JAVA USERS WANT.

FIX THE PROBLEM OR GIVE ME FEEDBACK.

javac - SHOULDN'T REQUIRE .java extensions. PERIOD.

EVERY COMPUTER LANGUAGE IN THE WORLD HAS A DEFAULT WHY DOESN'T
JAVA.

JAVA IS A GREAT LANGUAGE BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THE DESIGNERS
WERE THINKING. ITS JUST PLAIN WRONG.

I WANT FEEDBACK AND SO DO SEVERAL OTHERS IN MY JAVA GROUP.
