In JFileChooser, you can't use delete key to
delete files and directories.
This is a common feature which is available
in almost all Windows File Chooser Dialogs, so
this should be considered a bug rather than a
request for enhancement.

EVALUATION Verified. There are several windows deviations that need to be addressed. This, I'm afraid, will have to wait till post jdk1.2FCS. jeff.dinkins@Eng 1998-05-29 This would be a difficult fix which requires interaction with trash can on a low level.
