Why not Polyline2D class nor Polygon2D class in awt.geom package.
whreas Polyline class and Polygon class in java.awt package.

  I need to handle Float or Double coordinates for polylines and polygons.
  Polylines and polygons help to improve the performance
becuase such a collective method is faster than drawing lines and arcs
separatly

EVALUATION The customer should be using the GeneralPath class to implement floating point polylines and polygons. A pair of Poly*2D classes might provide a small amount of value for cases when you know up front that a path contains only straight line segments, but it also duplicates functionality that is already provided by GeneralPath. jim.graham@Eng 1997-09-09
