SUGGESTED FIX [###@###.### Nov 3, 1999] This problem still exists as of the development/test/release cycle for the 1.3 (Kestrel) release. There are two fixes as I see it: 1- Make eventEnabled be protected so that subclasses can implement it. 2- Make Component.eventEnabled test all the awt event masks directly.
