Fix Request (OpenJDK 8u): Please approve backporting this to OpenJDK 8u as this fix has been backported to Oracle JDK 8u. I.e. brings OpenJDK 8u in-line with it. Patch did not apply cleanly, but the manual backport was relatively straight-forward. Reviewed by Andrew Hughes. Fix Request (OpenJDK 11u): Please approve backporting this to OpenJDK 11u as this fix has also been backported to Oracle JDK 11 which would bring OpenJDK 11u in-line with it. JDK 13 patch applies as-is. Testing: tier1 on Linux x86_64. JDK-8226607 should go with it for consistency's sake.
