JDK-8243081 :
Description
Nashorn is a JSR-223 compliant script engine for JavaScript. This was added to JDK starting from JDK 8 replacing earlier JavaScript engine based on Rhino. We propose to remove nashorn script engine (JEP 372)
Comments
Nashorn remains available as a standalone OpenJDK project, shipping binaries that can be used with Java 11 and later. See https://github.com/openjdk/nashorn.
