Description
As per the spec change done as part of JDK-8216396 for java.lang.Character Java SE 8 Platform, supports Unicode 6.2 plus one of extension to allow new currency code points from Unicode 10.0.    

This is bug covers the implementation task of adding 5 new currency code points from Unicode 10.0 to Java SE 8 Platform.
