Closing until jusched.log is provided from customer.
17-11-2016

Sounds like BT is not the culprit here. It's been 10 days since we requested the jusched.log. Closing the bug until the log is provided.
17-11-2016

Yes, BT -> BitDefender (Should be BD though).
08-11-2016

Is BT short for BitDefender?
07-11-2016

Submitter confirms that with BT installed with build 14955, install fails to proceed. In the next step, even after BT being uninstalled he couldn't complete installation. I have asked him to share the clean jusched logs from the affected system with BT installed and uninstalled.

The submitter is running different exe's (nb exe and our standalone jdk.exe), on multiple builds of windows 10...with and without Bitdefender installed. it's hard to debug this situation. It seems that it is not reproducible on the latest Fast Track build of Windows 10. Though at the same time they *ALSO* uninstalled Bitdefender, so the culprit may have just been Bitdefender. Can we get confirmation that it is no longer reproducible with the latest fast track build 14955 on all of the machines it was reproducible on before? Also, please provide results with *AND* without Bitdefender installed.
31-10-2016

Submitter confirmed back informing that updating to latest Windows 10 build 14955 resolved the issue on one system while on another system he uninstalled bitdefender to make JDK install work.
27-10-2016

Received update from submitter: "Are you using the fast track version of Windows 10, build 14951. I uninstalled java, and now cannot reinstall it, so there is no jusched.log. I also get a popup: Windows protected your PC Windows SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk. More info I choose more info/Run anyway, it asks for permission, and dies. This is with the 111jdk." Note: Submitter is suggesting to try this on the fast track.
25-10-2016

Sent a communication to submitter requesting new and clean jusched.log as required for better investigation.
25-10-2016

The jusched.log file is not helpful. It does not seem to match up with what the user is seeing. The error comes from jusched.exe. We do not run jusched.exe during install, so this does not make sense. We need the user to delete jusched.log, then run the installer and provide a clean jusched.log. It seems that some type of defender software is blocking our install.
24-10-2016

Customer updated that it failed to install even as a bundle with Netbeans 8.2 (see attached screenshot).
24-10-2016

Submitter has shared the jusched log. "It failed on build 14951 also. But I have uninstalled java hoping that a clean install would work. No success". Attached is the jusched log from the affected system as shared by the submitter. The log reveals jusched error while opening JavaUpdate key. =========================== [2016/10/19 18:13:35.533, jusched.exe (PID: 12128, TID: 12136), AllUtils.cpp:125 (logit)] INFO: jusched ERROR: Opening JavaUpdate key or Querying Frequency/Schedule in while loop ===========================
