FULL PRODUCT VERSION :
java version "1.7.0_40"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_40-b43)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.0-b56, mixed mode)

ADDITIONAL OS VERSION INFORMATION :
OSX Yosemite 10.10.2

A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
When we updated to the latest Java Update 40, our software textfields are not editable anymore. It's affecting all our clients who are using our software.



REGRESSION.  Last worked in version 8u40

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
To replicate the issue, use Java Update 40 on MAC OS X 10.10.2 and download the software here: http://www.visp.net/version6

Download either Version 6.0 or Version 6.1. Upon running the .jnlp file, there's a login screen which you couldn't edit the textfield. This started when we updated to the latest Java Update 40.

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
We should be able to edit the textfields as it used to work with the previous version of Java on MAC OSX.

REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.

Closing this issue: - As a duplicate of JDK-8074668 with a fix. - No confirmation from the submitter within stipulated time. - Confirmed working fine in MAC OS X with JDK 8u45

Checked this for Java 8u45 on MAC OS X and couldn't reproduce this issue. This is probably fixed with JDK-8074668. I have written to the submitter for confirmation with 8u45.
