Description
Currently dual fields are always enabled by default. It seems like dual fields should be coupled to optimistc types (disabled by default when running without optimistic types).
Comments
Would really have liked this in 8u40. Measurements show that dual fields without optimistic types produce very small positive to very small negative performance impact.
