The links below are not broken, but the document does not use the exact URL, and the links were redirected. It may be a good idea to link to the final location, for the sake of speed.

warning Line: 1551 http://java.sun.com/xml redirected to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/index.html
    Status: 301 -> 200 OK

    This is a permanent redirect. The link should be updated.
The link "http://java.sun.com/xml" can now be replaced with "http://openjdk.java.net/groups/core-libs/index.html#jaxp".

The broken link is in http://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/api/, where a reference to JAXP was made for org.w3c.dom. Since JAXP standalone reached end of life after version 1.6 was released, I'd like to point to OpenJDK Core Libraries (http://openjdk.java.net/groups/core-libs/) for future reference of JAXP technologies. I've made a request to update the page and Iris has helped preparing a changeset that adds JAXP packages.

The link needs to be fixed to point to where JAXP is held. Since JAXP standalone has reached end-of-life, we need a place in the OpenJDK/core-libs area. I've made request to update the OpenJDK/core-libs page so that we can, in the future, point to the page for references of JAXP.

Release team: Approved for deferral. Cleaning up all remaining bugs still targeted to 8. I pushed this to 8u20, but since this doesn't seem related to the product or docs but rather a redirect it should be fine to fix it before then.
