JDK-6640196 - BackgroundDownloader dies after installation.
Description
I have installed kernel jre some 2 days back, today I am running an applet and its still downloading components.
Comments
EVALUATION Completion process ( rt.jar , jvm.dll replacement etc) will happen only when no java process is running. Please close all java process and browser session and try running a java program. If still doenst happen. There must be some problem with the backgroundDownloader. We need more info . Plaese run java -Dkernel.debug=true sun.jkernel.BackgroundDownloader and if fails attach the program output.
