Description
The Hot Spot Error log file is a valuable data
to help analyze crash root cause when a JVM crashes.

This RFE is a request to add the Date/TimeStamp to
the Hot Spot Error Log File. This would be useful
when attempting to correlate system events from
the messages file to the hot spot JVM crash.

Comments
EVALUATION This has already been fixed via. bug 6447157. See that bug for the format of the date/time stamp. If more is requested or the format is not suitable for this request, please reopen this bug. The target release in 6447157 says 7 but this fix will be available with 6u4 which will be the first 6.0 update release that uses Hotspot Express (as known internally don't know the external name). Thanks.

EVALUATION Forward to the VM runtime who is the owner of the hs_err file.
